Amy Florio

Amy Florio, Associate*

Amy Florio joined BCIP in 2021 after graduating from Seton Hall University School of Law. She has an undergraduate degree in Physics from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Amy’s background in science motivated her to focus her law school work on intellectual property law. Amy’s practice encompasses all aspects of patent law, including patent prosecution in the United States and internationally, freedom to operate studies, and patentability opinions. She handles patent matters in a variety of technologies, including medical devices, autonomous vehicles, laboratory equipment and methodology, software, and power systems.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, hiking, cooking, winemaking, and playing board games.
